Beauty hacks: How to get rid of dark underarms

It's finally summertime! Time to whip out those tanks and tubes and show the world.....but there's a problem...... dark unsightly underarms. Dark underarms can develop from a variety of different problems ranging from skin issues, to five o' clock shadows from shaving, to even the deodorants/antiperspirants we use. It's a problem that many people face and is easy to tackle.

Many deodorants contain harsh chemicals that are in place to stop sweating and odors however the skin might have mini reactions to the buildup causing it to become discolored. It isn't generally harmful however, it can be the center of embarrassment.

DIY deodorants/antiperspirants can be helpful however, many people do not have the patience to work with natural deodorants/antiperspirants as they can get a bad reputation for ' not working'. This meaning that because of the chemicals in store bought deodorants/antiperspirants they work instantly to combat odors because they seal the sweat glands to avoid the sweat from mixing with bacteria and causing odors. Natural or DIY deodorants tends to have ingredients that pull the clogged toxins out of the body first before working to eliminate bacteria on a daily basis. This will result in odors at first, but once the body is cleansed they work like any other deodorant.

The dark unsightly shadow however, can still be a problem. Many household and food items have gentle bleaching properties that you can use to fade and eliminate this problem. Here are a few DIY's that you can try to get you looking your top notch self again.
